How to Find the Royal School
By Air: Both Belfast International (50 minutes by road) and Belfast City Airport’s (60 minutes by road) are within easy reach and have regular scheduled flights from all UK Airports. London Heathrow is a short 90 minute flight from Belfast allowing access to airports worldwide.
By Rail: Portadown is the nearest main line station, which has regular services to Belfast, Dublin and other cities and is only a 20 minute taxi journey away from the School.
By Road: The Royal School is located 20 minutes from the M1 motorway allowing easy access to the school via car.
From the M1: Exit at Junction 11 and at the roundabout join the M12 signposted to Craigavon/Portadown/Armagh. Travel along the dual carriageway joining the A3, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit for Armagh. Continue to follow the A3 and the entrance to the Royal School is directly opposite the Armagh Planetarium.
On Arrival: Car parking is available on your left as you enter through the School gates in the Visitors’ Car Park. Visitors are then invited to report directly to Reception.
